Yakima Roof Box Review - 2019 Cadillac XT5- Video

So today 2019 Cadillac XT5, we're going to be doing a test fit on the Yakima Skybox Low Rooftop Cargo Box. I've already got it in place just to give you a good idea of what it looks like. This is going to be great for carrying those smaller, elongated items. Things like maybe skis and snowboards. You can still fit a couple of duffle bags in there, but it is low profile as you can see. It's actually about 11 and a half inches tall, 92 inches long and about 36 inches wide, so what it lacks in that height, it makes up for in that width at 36 inches wide, so not a bad set up here. more

Thule Roof Box Review - 2019 Cadillac XT5- Video

Today, on our 2019 Cadillac XT5, we're gonna be doing a test fit on the Thule Motion XT rooftop cargo box. I've already got it in place, just to give you a good idea what it looks like. I've got the silver installed, but it's also available in black. So if that's you're interested in, see etrailer.com.Now, this rooftop box is gonna allow us to free up space inside of our vehicle for more gear or passengers and pets. If you can see, we're able to store all that gear inside of our box, without any issues.This is better than having to use a cargo carrier or a hitch or haul around a trailer. Everything is up on top of our roof, within easy reach, and we're always gonna have it with us.Now, very similar to a roof basket, except for this is gonna offer us more security and protection from the elements.Now, its dimensions are 91 and a half inches long, by 37 and a half inches wide, and it's about 18 inches tall. more

Thule Sonic XXL Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2011 Cadillac SRX- Video

Today, on our 2011, Cadillac SRX, we'll be test fitting the Thule Sonic XXL Rooftop Cargo Box, part number th636s. We'll begin our test fit by placing the cargo box onto the vehicles load bars and as you can see, the box does come into contact with the antennae. You can remove the antennae by simply untwisting it. Once the box is in position, you can unlock the box and open the lid, exposing the two closest knobs. You can then turn the knobs to bring the clamps up around tightly against the load bars. You'll know when the clamps have been fully tightened when the knob starts to click. more

Thule Sonic Medium Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2011 Cadillac SRX- Video

Today, on our 2011 Cadillac SRX, we'll be test fitting the Thule Sonic Medium Rooftop Cargo Box in glossy black, part number th634b. To begin our test fit, we'll place the cargo box onto the vehicles load bars. After positioning the clamps over the load bars, we can unlock the box and open the lid, exposing the two closest knobs. We'll then turn the knobs to bring the clamps up around tightly against the load bars and you'll know when they have been fully tightened when the knob starts to click. We'll then close the lid and move to the other side of the vehicle, where we can again unlock the box and open the lid, exposing the two closest knobs. We'll then turn the knobs to bring the clamps up around tightly against the load bars. more

Thule Pulse Medium Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2011 Cadillac SRX- Video

Today, on our 2011, Cadillac SRX, we'll be test fitting the Thule Pulse Medium Rooftop Cargo Box, part number TH614. We'll begin our test fit by placing the box onto the vehicles load bars. We'll then unlock the box and open the lid, exposing the four slots on the bottom of the box. We'll take the clamps and slide them down through the slots, over the top of the load bars. We'll then turn the knobs to bring the clamps up around tightly against the load bars, securing the box to our Cadillac. Once everything is all tightened down and secured, you can see that we can easily access the rear hatch of the Cadillac with the Thule Pulse secured. more

Today, on our 2011, Cadillac SRX, we'll be test fitting a Thule Pulse Alpine Rooftop Cargo Box, part number TH613. We'll begin our test fit by placing the cargo box onto the vehicles load bars. We'll unlock the box and open the lid, exposing the four slots on the bottom of the box. We'll slide the clamps down through the slots, over the top of the load bars. We'll then turn the knobs to bring the clamps up around tightly against the load bars, securing the box to our Cadillac. Once everything is all tightened down and secured, we'll move to the rear hatch and check for cargo access. more
